The PREPARE Project of the Council of State Archivists included community building activities focused on providing direct assistance to states and territories in building digital preservation capacity. We will provide an overview of one such project (designing an email preservation workflow for the State of Maine) including current state, goals, and how the state plans to achieve those goals with the lessons learned from the PREPARE Grant.
