Sally DeBauche, Stanford University

Sally DeBauche is a Digital Archivist in the Department of Special Collection at Stanford University Libraries. She is responsible for creating policy and workflows related to born digital archiving and processing born digital collections, with a particular focus on email. She also managed development for the ePADD software from 2019-2021 and consulted on the recently concluded cycle of development led by the University of Manchester and Harvard University.

Description:

This workshop will introduce and build familiarity with the ePADD software and provide participants with the experience and tools to advocate for and implement ePADD at their own institutions to appraise, process, and support discovery and access for email archives. The majority of the workshop will be devoted to demonstration and hands-on exercises taking users through specific ePADD modules and functionalities. The workshop will be beneficial for all those with a responsibility or interest in appraising, processing and/or supporting discovery and access for email archives.
